 The efficiency of the tubes in class "AB1" -"AB2" are about 35% - 63%. It depends on the condition angle of the anode current. The choosing of the condition angle depends on anode-grid graphical characteristics (whether linear or non-linear mode of amplifier is chosen) and on other parameters of the tube including schematic of amplifier (grounded grid or grounded cathode and etc.). Zero-signal current for cathode grounded amplifier is very critical for intermodulation distortion and can be defined using  graphical  characteristics of the tube. Zero-signal current for grid grounded tube is not critical and can be less in 5 - 10 times than for cathode grounded tube due to about 6 db of positive feedback providing by grounded grid schematic automatically.

Real efficiency of amplifier includes efficiency of Pi or Pi-L inductor.
As a rule real efficiency of inductor is 50% - 86% on 30MHz and 86% - 93% on  1.8MHz. - 20MHz.  It depends on type of inductor, frequency, construction  features and influence of metal details to inductor.

The highest quality tubes are produced and intended  for Army . Other quality tubes could be obtained by any users for various purposes, not for transmitters only. For example: for various oscillators of the factory processes  etc.  
The tubes which are offered from this web have never  used & new. They are high quality tubes  from the Army stocks.
