you wanted to know what i get back to my worldwide question for a AFC-circuit for the Kenwood TS-790 trx. Here is the weak result:

EXPAND COVERAGE TS-790

Locate circuit board positioned vertically behind the front panel. Locate and remove diodes 29, 30.

Reset the microprcessor (press and hold A=B and turn POWER ON).

Factory Diode SET-UP: IN D22,29,30,32
IN BUT CLIPPED BY FACTORY = D23,24
EMPTY POSITION = D17,18,20

ATTENTION!!!!
THIS FACTORY DIODES SET-UP IS FOR TS-790A, BUT THE TS-790E IS SIMILAR OR IDENTICAL. RANGE: 130-170MHZ AND 422-463MHZ.
